About
The mission, the lineage, and the tradition this site serves.
This is a rigorous, visually-driven educational platform presenting the New Austrian Economics tradition — rooted in Carl Menger's foundations and Antal Fekete's applied monetary theory — in a form that is accessible, interactive, and actionable for serious readers.
This is not a repackaging of Mises Institute content. The intellectual hierarchy here centers Menger and Fekete, with Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, and Huerta de Soto contextualized within that framework rather than treated as the primary tradition.
The Lineage
Carl Menger laid the foundations: subjective value theory, marginal utility, the theory of economic goods, and the origin of money through saleability.
Antal Fekete built the applied apex: the Real Bills Doctrine, the gold basis and co-basis framework, permanent backwardation thesis, interest rate as hyperbolic geometry, and the critique of Mises on interest.
The middle branches — Mises, Hayek, Rothbard, Huerta de Soto — are contextualized within this framework, not centered.
Why This Site Exists
Mainstream economics — including much of the popularized Austrian tradition — fails to adequately explain monetary phenomena, interest rate behavior, and capital destruction under fiat regimes.
Fekete's New Austrian Economics, grounded in Menger's theory of saleability, provides the most rigorous framework available for understanding what is happening and what to do about it.
This is the resource that should have existed for decades and doesn't.
